Catherine Dowie knew at the age of 8 that she wanted to become a teacher. She qualified at Rhodes University with an English degree and went on to study a teaching qualification. She began teaching high school English immediately after University.
She has used her school holidays to travel parts of the world. She has visited England, Belgium, Switerzland, Austria, Poland, German, Czech republic, France, Italy, Russia, the UAE, Indonesia, Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, China and Japan. They currently live in Malaysia, where she is a housewife and mother to their son, Jack.
She loves being married to Baden and enjoys travelling with him. She loves to write about her experiences and share them with her friends and family.
